Terms of Use for the Kibbutz Lavi Hotel Website

1. General
1.1. Welcome to the official website of Kibbutz Lavi Hotel, found at: hotel@lavi.co.il (hereinafter: the “Website”).
1.2. The Hotel is operated by Lavi Guest Hotel in the Heart of the Galilee – Agricultural Cooperative Society Ltd., Company Number: 570053520 (hereinafter: the “Hotel” and/or the “Cooperative”).
1.3. The Website provides information about the Hotel and its services and includes a digital booking engine for reserving vacation stays at the Hotel (hereinafter: the “Services”).
1.4. The terms of use outlined below, together with the Hotel’s Privacy Policy (published at https://hotel.lavi.co.il/cancellation-policy) (collectively hereinafter: the “Terms of Use”), apply to all browsing, use, activity, and any reservation made through the Website.
1.5. By using the Website, you unconditionally agree to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, and you shall have no claim or demand against the Hotel and/or the Cooperative and/or anyone acting on their behalf, except for breach of an express obligation under the Terms of Use and/or the Privacy Policy.
1.6. The Cooperative reserves the right to update and modify these Terms of Use from time to time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Any such change will take effect immediately upon its publication on the Website.
1.7. The Cooperative reserves the right to deny access to and activity on the Website, temporarily or permanently, to any person who violates the Terms of Use and/or makes improper use of the Website and/or any content appearing on it, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
1.8. These Terms of Use are written in the masculine form for convenience only and refer equally to all genders. Any reference in the singular shall also apply to the plural and vice versa.
2. Use of the Website
2.1. The Website is intended for users over the age of 18 who have the legal capacity to use and make purchases through the Website. If you are under this age, you declare that you are using the Website under the direct supervision of your parent or legal guardian.
2.2. In order to use some or all of our Services, you may be required to create a user account and register on the Website (hereinafter: the “User Account”). If you choose to create a User Account and register, you represent that all information you provide to us at any time will be truthful, accurate, current, and complete.
2.3. The Website allows the purchase of vacation services at the Hotel for personal, private, or business use only. The Website is not intended for wholesale or agent activity (whether for a single sale or multiple sales over time) and/or for resale (i.e., purchasing quantities of services from the Website for the purpose of reselling them to other customers).
2.4. You may not copy, publicly display, or use any images or content published on the Website for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without obtaining prior written permission from the Cooperative.
2.5. You may not operate or allow the operation of any computer application or other means that enables the full or partial copying of information and content from the Website. The use of automated systems, including but not limited to: “robots,” “spiders,” “crawlers,” “viruses,” offline readers, or any system that allows or may allow access to the Website by sending requests to the Website’s servers over a given period of time, or any system that a regular and reasonable user would not be able to operate, is strictly prohibited.
3. Hotel Services
3.1. Kibbutz Lavi Hotel offers accommodations in accordance with Jewish religious and traditional values, including a year-round swimming pool (hereinafter: the “Pool”), green open spaces, breathtaking views, and strictly kosher meals.
3.2. The Pool operates with gender-segregated hours as well as mixed family hours.
3.3. The Pool is closed on Shabbat (Saturday) and Jewish holidays, during the Nine Days, on Tisha B’Av, Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day), and Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day).
3.4. The Hotel offers a fitness room with gender-segregated hours as well as mixed hours.
3.5. Entry to the dining hall is permitted only with full attire.
3.6. It is prohibited to bring outside food into the dining hall.
3.7. It is forbidden to bring Chametz into the Hotel premises during Passover. Additionally, during Passover, hotel rooms do not include coffee kits.
3.8. Public desecration of Shabbat is strictly prohibited on Hotel premises.
3.9. On Shabbat, reception and bar services are unavailable, and the Hotel follows a “meal reversal” policy (a meat breakfast and a dairy meal toward evening).
3.10. On Shabbat, entry and exit of vehicles to and from the Hotel grounds are prohibited, except in cases of emergency.
3.11. All hotel buildings are non-smoking.
3.12. It is forbidden to bring hookahs or smoking devices into hotel rooms.
3.13. Animals are not permitted on Hotel premises, except with prior coordination and appropriate authorization.
3.14. Electric vehicles may only be charged at designated charging stations.
3.15. All hotel rooms include a television that cannot be disconnected.
3.16. The Hotel includes halls designated for Orthodox Jewish prayer. Halls adapted for alternative prayer formats are available by prior arrangement.
4. Services Offered on the Website
4.1. Placing a reservation through the Website is subject to providing credit card details for security purposes. Credit card information entered via the Website is intended solely to secure the reservation. The card will be charged only upon actual arrival at the Hotel.
4.2. Once the credit card information has been submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address acknowledging receipt of the reservation (hereinafter: the “Reservation Confirmation”).
4.3. Upon arrival at the Hotel, you must present the Reservation Confirmation and a valid form of identification at the reception desk.
4.4. It is possible that a reservation for a specific date or room type may become unavailable before completion of the reservation. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible to cancel the reservation or offer alternative dates. The Cooperative shall not be liable for any compensation in such cases.
4.5. Guest stay at the Hotel begins at 15:00 on the day of arrival and ends at 11:00 on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or late check-out are subject to prior approval from Hotel management and may incur an additional fee, at the sole discretion of the Hotel.
4.6. When placing a reservation, you must specify the details of the guests staying at the Hotel. An infant is defined as a child up to the age of two (2), and a child is defined as a person up to the age of twelve (12).
5. Prices on the Website
5.1. The service prices listed on the Website at the time of reservation are those that will apply to the Hotel. The Hotel may update service prices from time to time, regardless of the reservation or visit date.
5.2. Services displayed at promotional prices will be provided at the promotional price, provided the promotion is valid at the time of reservation and subject to availability on the Website.
5.3. Services purchased under a benefit by redeeming a coupon or personal voucher will be provided with the benefit, provided that the coupon or voucher was entered by you, is valid at the time of reservation, and the service is available.
5.4. All prices are in New Israeli Shekels (NIS) and include Value Added Tax (VAT).
6. Orders on the Website
6.1. In order to place a purchase on the Website, you will be required to provide identifying information, such as your full name, email address, and residential address.
6.2. When placing an order, a verification will be performed on the credit card details provided as security. Upon approval of the order by the payment processor or the party operating the payment system, a confirmation notice will be sent indicating that the transaction has been approved. If approved, the order will be recorded and a confirmation email will be sent to you confirming the order. It is hereby clarified that only an email confirmation of the order, including the relevant order details such as order number, customer details, and order information, shall constitute confirmation that the order has been received. Until such confirmation is received from the credit card company and an email confirmation is sent, the order shall not be considered valid.
6.3. The records of the Hotel’s computer systems regarding actions carried out through the Website shall constitute prima facie evidence of the accuracy of such actions.
7. Order Cancellation
7.1. You may cancel a reservation made through the Website at any time, subject to cancellation fees as detailed below:
7.1.1. Cancellation fees for reservations made during regular seasons (excluding Jewish and Israeli holidays and peak season – July and August):
7.1.1.1. Cancellation up to 3 business days (non-rest days) before the scheduled arrival – no charge.
7.1.1.2. Cancellation after that – one night charge based on bed and breakfast.
7.1.2. Cancellation fees for reservations made during Jewish and Israeli holidays and peak season (July–August):
7.1.2.1. During Jewish and Israeli holidays and peak season, excluding Passover – cancellation up to 14 days prior to arrival – no charge.
If the cancellation is made within 14 days of the transaction date or within 14 days of receiving the reservation confirmation, whichever is later, cancellation may be made at no charge up to 7 business days (non-rest days) before the scheduled arrival.
7.1.2.2. Cancellation after that – one night charge based on bed and breakfast..
7.1.3. Cancellation fees for reservations during Passover 2026:
7.1.3.1. Cancellation until January 1, 2026 – the deposit will be refunded in full, minus a cancellation fee of 10% of the total deposit paid.
7.1.3.2. Cancellation between January 2, 2026 and March 2, 2026 – the deposit will be refunded minus 50% of the total deposit paid.
7.1.3.3. Cancellation between March 3, 2026 and March 16, 2026 – the deposit will not be refunded.
7.1.3.4. Cancellation after March 17, 2026 and until the check-in date – a charge of 40% of the total reservation amount will apply.
7.1.3.5. Notwithstanding the above, if the cancellation is made within 14 days of the transaction date or within 14 days of receiving the reservation confirmation, whichever is later, cancellation is permitted without charge up to 7 business days (non-rest days) before the scheduled arrival.
7.2. A customer who is a person with a disability as defined under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and/or a customer aged 65 or older, and/or a customer who is a new immigrant (within five years from the date of issuance of their immigration certificate or eligibility certificate), shall be entitled to cancel the transaction within four (4) months from the date of the reservation and receipt of the transaction details, whichever is later, provided that the transaction included communication with the Cooperative, including via digital means such as email or message sent by the customer. After the end of the four (4) months, the cancellation terms shall be in accordance with Section 7.1 above.
7.3. Reservation cancellations may be made through any of the following methods:
7.3.1. By clicking the “Cancel Reservation” link on the homepage of the Website and filling out the required details.

7.4. When canceling a reservation, the following details must be provided: full name, reservation number, and contact information.
7.5. It is clarified that in all cases, reservation cancellations are subject to the provisions of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981 (hereinafter: the “Consumer Protection Law”), and nothing in these Terms of Use and/or in the cancellation and refund policy shall derogate from it.
8. Consent to Receive Advertisements
If you have consented to receive information, updates, and any advertising materials as defined in Section 30A of the Israeli Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 1982, via email or phone, we may send you promotional content from time to time. You may withdraw your consent at any time and notify us of your refusal to receive further advertisements.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
9.1. The Website and its content are provided to you "AS IS" for the purpose of providing information and enabling hotel reservations. It is strictly prohibited to use, photograph, reproduce, distribute, transfer, transmit, display, sell, license, or otherwise use the content for any other purpose without prior written consent from the Hotel.
9.2. The content on the Website, including photographs of the Hotel, graphics, text, sounds, music, and video clips, is the property of (or used under license by) the Cooperative.
9.3. Such content, as well as trademarks, service marks, and logos appearing on the Website (collectively: "Trademarks"), whether registered or not, are the property of (or used under license by) the Cooperative. The presentation of any content included or appearing on the Website shall not be construed as a direct or implied authorization, license, or title to use the Trademarks, without the prior written consent of the Hotel. Copying or using any content from the Website is strictly prohibited unless written permission has been granted.
10. Links to Third-Party Websites
10.1. The Website may contain links to third-party websites. Unless otherwise stated, such websites and their content are provided by entities that are not owned by, affiliated with, incorporated with, associated with, or subsidiaries of the Cooperative. The Cooperative and/or any related entity do not endorse, represent, or bear any responsibility with respect to such websites and may not have reviewed their content. The Cooperative has no control over and disclaims all responsibility regarding the content, privacy practices, or conduct of third-party websites.
10.2. The Cooperative makes no warranties or representations regarding the reliability of the content or any other aspect of the information presented on third-party websites or any external sources or servers, and the Cooperative does not necessarily endorse such websites, servers, or sources.
10.3. In light of the above, the Cooperative recommends that you remain aware that when you leave the Website and visit other websites, you should read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each such site. You hereby fully, finally, and irrevocably release the Cooperative and/or any related entity from any and all liability related to your browsing on any third-party website
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1. Access to the Website is provided “as is” and “as available”. The Website may be unavailable from time to time for any reason, due to circumstances related to the Cooperative (including routine maintenance) or unrelated to it, and access to the Website may be interrupted, suspended, and/or terminated, temporarily or permanently. You release the Cooperative and/or anyone on its behalf, including its employees, directors, office holders, and affiliated entities, from any damage and/or payment and/or loss caused as a result of the above. Without derogating from the above, you acknowledge that using the Internet may involve interruptions beyond the control of the Cooperative, and that the Cooperative shall not be liable for any disruption or loss of data during the transfer of information over the Internet.
11.2. The Cooperative and/or the Hotel and/or anyone acting on their behalf shall not be liable for any error made by you when entering purchase details, including errors in selecting the vacation package, date, number of beds, or any other property reserved by you through the Website, and shall not be responsible in any manner, directly or indirectly, in cases where the purchase details are not recorded in the system and/or for any technical or other issue preventing you from making a reservation through the Website.
11.3. In no event shall the Cooperative be liable for any damage and/or loss and/or injury, whether indirect, incidental, special, consequential, and/or punitive, arising from or related to the Services and/or the Website and/or these Terms of Use. Furthermore, the total liability of the Cooperative shall not exceed the actual amount paid by you.
11.4. You declare that your use of the Website is at your sole and exclusive responsibility. The Cooperative and/or anyone on its behalf does not represent or warrant that the information (including instructions) on the Website is accurate, complete, or useful, and does not undertake that your use of the services will comply with applicable law in any particular jurisdiction. By using the Website, you declare that your activity is lawful in the jurisdiction and/or country in which you are located.
11.5. The Cooperative shall not be responsible for the accuracy or completeness of any content. You are responsible for exercising judgment in determining the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information found in the services.
11.6. You agree that we shall have the right to disclose any information we have about you which we believe is required in order to comply with any applicable law, regulation, or governmental request.
12. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
12.1. These Terms of Use and the legal obligations of the parties shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel, regardless of your location when using the Website.
12.2. The exclusive jurisdiction over any claim and/or complaint and/or legal action related to the Website and/or these Terms of Use shall be in the competent courts located within the judicial district of the State of Israel, in the Northern District only.
13. Miscellaneous
13.1. The section headings are provided for convenience and reference purposes only and shall not be used for the interpretation of these Terms of Use.
13.2. Any right, remedy, and/or relief available to the Cooperative under these Terms of Use shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, any other right, remedy, and/or relief available to it.
13.3. These Terms of Use do not constitute a contract for the benefit of any third party and do not grant any rights to any third party.
13.4. No waiver, failure to act, or extension granted by the Cooperative shall be deemed a waiver of its rights under these Terms of Use and/or under any law, shall not constitute a precedent, shall not apply by analogy to any other case, and shall not impair the Cooperative’s right to enforce its rights at any time. No claim of waiver or delay shall be heard.
13.5. The invalidity of any provision of these Terms of Use shall not affect the validity of the Terms of Use as a whole. Any invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid and enforceable provision that most closely reflects the intent of the original provision, to the extent permitted by law.
